JACKSONVILLE, Fla. \u2013 Today\u2019s weather in Jacksonville is truly something special. I\u2019m seeing another beautiful day ahead, as temperatures are set to hit 71 degrees by 3 p.m.<\/p>\n
We started off cooler this morning \u2014 only 44 degrees here in Jacksonville, compared to about 54 degrees at this same time yesterday. Across the board, spots like Macclenny dropped to 37 degrees, and it was in the 50s on the coast.<\/p>\n
This is your last day below average for a while! The average high for this time of year is 76 degrees, and we\u2019re expected to move well above that starting tomorrow.<\/p>\n
Looking ahead, you can count on this warm-up: highs are forecast to reach 80 degrees on Wednesday, dip just a bit to 79 on Thursday, then back into the low 80s through the weekend.<\/p>\n
Tidal flooding expected to begin today<\/p>\n
As gorgeous as the forecast looks, some of you might have to watch out for tidal flooding starting today. If you live in an area affected by high tides, keep an eye on those local water levels.<\/p>\n

A few spots dealt with chilly air and patchy fog this morning as well. It\u2019s nothing widespread, but areas like Lake City have seen a little bit of fog.<\/p>\n
