Regardless of development, it will be a rain-maker for the Florida Gulf Coast and points west.<\/p>\n

Low pressure organizing west of Florida has a higher chance of developing through the weekend and early next week. An upper-level low-pressure system west of Tampa is now organizing at the surface and now it has a 40% chance of becoming a tropical depression in the next seven days. Regardless of development, it will be a rain-maker for the Florida Gulf Coast and points west.<\/p>\n

It isn’t a direct threat to the Carolinas. At this point, it is unlikely to enhance our rain chances.<\/p>\n

No other tropical cyclone is active, and no other area has a chance of seeing a tropical depression develop in the next seven days.<\/p>\n
