An investigation is underway after a man said he was attacked by two pit bulls during an evening run in Wynwood.<\/p>\n
The man is now recovering at home and is sharing the terrifying ordeal.<\/p>\n
For Evan Motolong, it was a regular evening run with his dog Indie when two pit bulls suddenly charged at him as he tried to protect his dog.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe went by, he was going this, we were going this way,” Motolong said. “I just remember it happened just like that, like the two dogs just rushed after her.\u201d<\/p>\n

Motlong said he jumped in to save his dog.<\/p>\n
\u201cI ripped one off, and I got in the middle, and got the other off, I got my arm badly bit,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Motlong told NBC6 that the owner then ordered the dogs to attack him<\/p>\n
According to witnesses who spoke with Motlong, the dog owner gave him a black eye.<\/p>\n
\u201cSo he told me that this guy shoved me, and punched me while I was on the ground,” he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe comments I’ve read on my story have said they’ve seen this guy doing this to other people,” he said<\/p>\n
Motlong is now hoping his story helps prevent this from happening to someone else<\/p>\n
\u201cPeople shouldn\u2019t have to look over their shoulder wondering if their, a family member basically, a dog is a family member, is going to get attacked or potentially killed,” he said.<\/p>\n
Motlong told NBC6 that detectives have told him they intend to arrest the man he said was responsible for the attack.<\/p>\n
