Universal\u2019s Epic Universe<\/a> has been open for over a year, and the Orlando area\u2019s newest theme park is still drawing in first-time visitors\u2026 some of whom might not be clear on what they NEED to bring to make it through a day in the park.<\/p>\n

Luckily for those first-timers, we\u2019ve been visiting Epic Universe since the park opened (actually, since before the park *officially* opened), and over that time we\u2019ve put together a list of all the essentials to make a perfect \u2014 dare we say EPIC \u2014 day!<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s begin with one of the MOST important: Sunscreen!<\/a><\/p>\n

Epic Universe is home to many things. E-Ticket attractions? Check! Beloved properties? You better believe it! Unique food items? Heck yes! One thing that the park is definitely missing? Shade. The vast majority of the park sits in direct sunlight, especially in areas like Celestial Park where the trees haven\u2019t fully grown in yet. That\u2019s where sunscreen comes in.
