<\/a>bioreconstruct\/x<\/p>\nIn the aerial photos from bioreconstruct today, we can see significant progress being made in the resort\u2019s various pool areas. It also appears that the dock going into nearby Bay Lake is nearly complete. <\/p>\n
There seem to be light poles in place around the pool deck, which was paved last month, though we cannot be sure from photos if they are temporary lights or permanent ones. A bit more pavement has also been put in place. <\/p>\n This pool deck is the latest development since our last reported glimpse at the end of June<\/a>: <\/p>\n This latest batch of aerial photos also included photos above the area known as The Wetlands. This includes the resort\u2019s main pool area and lazy river. As you can see, the lazy river\u2019s pool deck has gotten more decorative as additional trees have been planted around the area. <\/p>\n The nearby Lakeshore Lagoon pool area has gotten more pool deck pavement since our last update, but it is not decorated as of yet. <\/p>\n A bioreconstruct photo from the end of June shows the early stages of paving the pool deck:<\/p>\n As we reported a few days ago<\/a>, the resort\u2019s primary feature pool, first introduced as Lakeside\u00a0Lagoon, is now called Lakeshore\u00a0Lagoon. Disney has not publicly announced the changes or explained why the original names were replaced.<\/p>\n The revised names appeared in Disney Parks Blog\u2019s \u201cLetters from Lakeshore<\/a>\u201d series, last updated on June 17. The updated text identifies Lakeshore Lagoon as the zero-entry feature pool located at the center of\u00a0The Wetlands, the resort\u2019s expansive outdoor recreation complex<\/a>. The pool will accommodate guests of all ages and include a spiral waterslide.<\/p>\n It also appears from bio\u2019s photos that the dock going into Bay Lake is nearly complete. Though, as bio points out, the roof of the shelter is still absent. <\/p>\n Here is what the dock looked like late last month:<\/p>\n In 2018, Disney\u00a0announced Reflections \u2013\u00a0A Disney Lakeside Lodge<\/a>. However, construction was stalled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The\u00a0resort was thought to be canceled<\/a>\u00a0before Disney\u00a0resurrected the project<\/a>\u00a0as Disney Lakeshore Lodge in 2024.<\/p>\n It will be a\u00a0fully Disney Vacation Club resort<\/a>\u00a0\u201cinspired by the majesty of nature and its enduring influence on Disney artists,\u201d including a\u00a0lazy river in The Wetlands pool area<\/a>.<\/p>\n Lakeshore Lodge is set to\u00a0open in the summer of 2027<\/a>.<\/p>\n Are you excited to keep seeing this resort taking shape?
