Cape Coral police officer and driver involved in serious crash<\/p>\n
CAPE CORAL, Fla. \u2014<\/p>\n
A Cape Coral police officer and another driver were hurt in a serious car crash Sunday night, according to Florida Highway Patrol. <\/p>\n
The crash happened around 10 p.m. at the intersection of Santa Barbara Boulevard and Veterans Parkway in Cape Coral. <\/p>\n
Images from the scene show severe damage to the front of the police car and damage to another vehicle. <\/p>\n
Florida Highway Patrol has been contacted with questions about what led to the crash.<\/p>\n
