Property records identify JT Dale Mabry Holdings LLC as the owner, with Tesla leasing the site.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The 6.7-acre property sits along one of Tampa\u2019s busiest commercial corridors and had recently undergone extensive renovations before being marketed for sale or lease.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"845\" height=\"563\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/1674790857531-845x563.webp\" alt=\"Tesla's sales and service center in Lealman, Florida, with a large showroom and service building viewed from above.\" class=\"wp-image-92018\"  \/>Tesla opened its Lealman sales and service center in 2023, expanding its footprint in the Tampa Bay market.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Dale Mabry location will add to Tesla\u2019s existing Tampa Bay network, which includes locations on North Florida Avenue, at International Plaza and in Lealman.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Long before it became a car dealership, the property was home to the Congress Inn, as seen in a 1961 photograph from the University of South Florida Libraries\u2019 Gandy Collection.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1000\" height=\"563\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/Untitled-July-06-2026-at-13.37.25-31-1-1000x563.jpeg\" alt=\"Congress Inn motel on North Dale Mabry Highway in Tampa in 1961, with its large roadside sign, parked cars and low-rise motel buildings.\" class=\"wp-image-92017\"  \/>The Congress Inn stood on North Dale Mabry before the site became a car dealership. The company has not announced an opening date or additional details about the project.
