{"id":346296,"date":"2026-07-20T18:24:08","date_gmt":"2026-07-20T18:24:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/346296\/"},"modified":"2026-07-20T18:24:08","modified_gmt":"2026-07-20T18:24:08","slug":"league-of-women-voters-offers-vote411-website-ahead-of-primary","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/346296\/","title":{"rendered":"League of Women Voters offers VOTE411 website ahead of primary"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ahead of the Aug.  18 primary election, the League of Women Voters of Lee County, Inc. offers the nonpartisan voter education tool VOTE411.org. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis \u201cone-stop shop\u201d for election information provides Lee County voters with information on where candidates stand on issues and tools to help navigate the voting process,\u201d league officials said in a release. \u201cVOTE411 provides personalized candidate information, voter registration details, polling place locations, and other helpful election information for all voters nationwide.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The League of Women Voters of Lee County, Inc. urges voters to vote informed, adding \u201cevery eligible voter should exercise their right to vote and make their voice heard at the ballot box.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe encourage voters to visit VOTE411.org so they are prepared to cast their vote confidently,\u201d the release states.<\/p>\n<p>In the Aug. 18 Primary Election, voters will elect the Lee County Commissioner District 5, School Board Members for Districts 1 and 6, 20th Circuit Judges and a Lee County Judge.  <\/p>\n<p>In addition, Cape Coral voters will determine candidates for the general election and decide three Cape Coral City Charter amendments;<\/p>\n<p>party voters will determine who advances to the general election and Bonita Springs voters will decide on a Bond Referendum for the Bonita Estero Rail Trail (BERT).  <\/p>\n<p>All eligible voters, including those without a party affiliation, may vote in the Primary Election. All primary ballots will include nonpartisan races.
