File photo<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n            &#13;<br \/>\n&#13;<br \/>\n&#13;<br \/>\n&#13;<br \/>\n&#13;<br \/>\n&#13;<br \/>\n&#13;<br \/>\n&#13;<br \/>\n&#13;<\/p>\n<p>What\u2019s Up FMB, the Fort Myers Beach business association, is bringing back the mullet festival to the island this Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>A daylong pub crawl and interactive competition will take place, with a dozen participating businesses. The daylong event is expected to include prizes and contests, a best mullet contest, along with specials at local restaurants and watering holes.<\/p>\n<p>At each of the 12 locations taking part, there will be a contest to earn points and stamps for prizes.<\/p>\n<p>Organizers say the festival combines an 80s-themed costume party, interactive business crawl, games, prizes, live entertainment, and an awards celebration into an epic day of fun while supporting local businesses.<\/p>\n<p>Participants will need to sign in at License to Chill on the Margaritaville Beach Resort property between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. on Saturday. The crawl starts at 11 a.m. and runs through 3 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>The cost to enter is $30 for adults and $15 for children. Participants can sign up during registration or on the What\u2019s Up FMB website online at https:\/\/secure.qgiv.com\/for\/mulletmadness2026\/event\/tickets\/<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/Bulletincveroption2-232x300.jpg\"  alt=\"article image\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Mullet madness is back.<\/p>\n<p>An awards ceremony, featuring raffles and prizes will be held at 4 p.m. at Cabana\u2019s at Diamondhead Beach Resort.<\/p>\n<p>Unlike a traditional pub crawl, Mullet Madness is an interactive competition. Participants will visit 12 participating businesses, where each location has created its own unique game or challenge. Players can earn up to 4 points at every stop based on their performance. In addition, each business will award one bonus point using its own unique criteria\u2013whether that\u2019s for creativity, enthusiasm, sportsmanship, best costume, or any fun twist they choose. Participants will also collect stamps at every location, with a perfect score totaling 55 points. Every point matters, and every stop brings a new opportunity to climb the leaderboard.<\/p>\n<p>Snug Harbor Waterfront Restaurant, Smokin\u2019 Oyster Brewery and Wahoo Willie\u2019s are among the participating business locations who have special discounts as part of the Mullet Madness celebrations. All three restaurnts will be offering a free drink up to $8 with any food purchase during the event.<\/p>\n<p>At Snug Harbor Waterfrint Resturant, there will be a Joe Dirt Photo Booth &amp; Props, along with a real fish mullet toss on the docks.<\/p>\n<p>Smokin\u2019 Oyster Brewery will also have a real fish mullet toss.<\/p>\n<p>Wahoo Willie\u2019s will host a rubber mullet toss with live music. <\/p>\n<p>The other participating businesses in the crawl are the Lah De Dah Beach Bar, Blue Parrot, Tunaskin, Tun-N-Fun Sport Rentals, The Nauti Flamingo, The Whale, La Ola Surfside Restaurant, and Nervous Nellie\u2019s.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to competing for the title of Mullet Madness Crawl Champion, participants can enter the Best Mullet Contest, featuring divisions for men, women and children. Whether your mullet is real, fake, or comes straight from the costume shop, everyone is encouraged to join in the fun. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cNo mullet? No problem!\u201d said Dawn Miller, President of What\u2019s Up FMB. \u201cGrab a wig, throw on your best 80s outfit, and join us for one of the most outrageous and entertaining events of the summer.
