(<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mysuncoast.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.mysuncoast.com\/\">WWSB<\/a>) &#8211; The 2026 Southeastern Conference (SEC) Media Day continues in Tampa on Tuesday. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Four schools (University of Georgia, Auburn University, University of South Carolina, and Vanderbilt University) are taking to the podium on Tuesday. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">For Auburn Tigers head coach Alex Golesh and his starting quarterback, Byrum Brown, Tuesday is somewhat of a homecoming. Golesh and Brown were both at the University of South Florida leading the Bulls football program last season. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Golesh was the USF head football coach from 2023 until November 2025. During his tenure, the Bulls went 23-15. The best of those seasons came last year when the team went 9-4 (9-3 under Golesh) and finished fourth in the American Athletic Conference (AAC). <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Golesh departed from the program on November 30, 2025 when he was offered and accepted the head coaching position at Auburn. Brown decided to follow his coach and transferred to the Tigers program. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">ABC7 Sports will provide updates throughout the day as SEC Media Days continues in Tampa. <\/p>\n<p>Copyright 2026 WWSB.
