New York-based international and Eastern European foods mart NetCost Market is preparing space to open a store in Regency Park Shopping Center in a year.<\/p>\n

NetCostMarket.com says the supermarket was founded in 2000 to provide \u201cnewly immigrated communities with a taste of home\u201d at its first two locations on East 16th Street and 65th Street in Brooklyn.<\/p>\n

Its site shows 15 stores in the states of New York (10), New Jersey (2), Pennsylvania (2) and the first in Florida in Hollywood, which opened in 27,000 square feet of space in December 2024.<\/p>\n

In Jacksonville, the site plan for Regency Park Shopping Center shows the almost 10,900-square-foot store in Unit 13 at 9400 Atlantic Blvd. The center is east of Southside Boulevard.<\/p>\n

Landlord Brixmor Property Group of Roswell, Georgia, shows NetCost Market in the former Party City space between Plato\u2019s Closet and Dollar Tree. By comparison, Dollar Tree is about the same size as the NetCost Market store.<\/p>\n

\u201cNetCost Market is an international supermarket offering a wide selection of fresh produce, meats, seafood, bakery items, prepared foods, and specialty grocery products from around the world,\u201d said Brixmor spokesperson Maria Pace in an email July 21.<\/p>\n

Pace anticipates it will open in summer 2027.<\/p>\n

\u201cNetCost Market will serve as a strong daily-needs traffic driver for Regency Park Shopping Center, providing the community with convenient access to everyday essentials and unique specialty items,\u201d Pace said.<\/p>\n

The city is reviewing a permit for electrical work at an estimated project cost of $300,000. The plan says the tenant renovation will be requested under a separate permit.<\/p>\n

RAM General Contracting & Development Inc. of Tampa is the contractor. Ragona Architecture & Design PLLC of Charlotte, North Carolina, is the architect. Absolute Civil Engineering Solutions LLC of Davie is the civil engineer.<\/p>\n

NetCost Market, whose tagline is \u201cWorld of Food,\u201d says its mission \u201cis to provide the diverse ethnic makeup of families that surround our store and service locations with a local grocery experience as well as access to a World of Food, exclusively imported from around the world and more importantly from their specific homelands.\u201d<\/p>\n

The site says it strives \u201cto stock all the products characteristic of an international food market, so you can find exactly what you need in no time\u201d and at reasonable prices. It operates the NetCost Market Club for deals and discounts.<\/p>\n

NetCost Market says it offers:<\/p>\n

\u2022 Fresh bread, baked goods and frozen bread products. \u201cOur kosher grocery store provides plenty of options for dairy-free, gluten-free, and halal diets\u201d<\/p>\n

\u2022 Caviar and seafood, including \u201call kinds of caviar, including sturgeon, beluga, salmon, red, black, and Russian.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u2022 Fresh and smoked meat and frozen chicken.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Cold cuts and deli products.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Fresh dairy and cheese, eggs, yogurts and butters.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Fresh produce.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Luxury chocolates and candy, and \u201cgift-quality options common in Europe.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u2022 Beverages and import beers.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Honey and jam.<\/p>\n

NetCost Market says it offers delivery services.<\/p>\n

The site says that in 1997, Royal Seafood Baza, a wholesale food import and export company, was founded as a family business in New York by Sam and Eduard Shnayder. It says NetCost Market followed three years later.<\/p>\n

Its LinkedIn page said it opened its first Florida store in Hollywood at 3791 Oakwood Blvd. \u201cThis 27,000-square-foot supermarket offers a rich variety of Eastern European specialties, freshly baked goods at our Gourmanoff Corner, fresh seafood, caviar, charcuteries, and organic options.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Hollywood store\u2019s hours are daily 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., with extended hours Dec. 28-30 and fewer hours New Year\u2019s Eve and New Year\u2019s Day.<\/p>\n

The Hollywood city Facebook page posted Jan. 17, 2025, that NetCost Market had opened and \u201cfeatures kosher and Halal products, imported foods, fresh fruit and vegetables, beer, wine and more.\u201d<\/p>\n
