Miami-Dade County\u2019s housing market has been firing on all cylinders recently, posting its best June in three years and 10th consecutive month<\/a> of annual gains,\u00a0MIAMI REALTORS\u00ae + RWorld said<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Total home sales\u00a0rose\u00a014.3% year over year to 2,107 transactions,\u00a0while\u00a0single-family sales<\/a>\u00a0climbed\u00a016.8% to 1,049 deals, and condominium sales\u00a0rose\u00a012%\u00a0to 1,058.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cCash buyers, wealth migration\u00a0and robust global demand continue to fuel Miami real estate,\u201d MIAMI REALTORS\u00ae +\u00a0RWorld\u00a0Chairman\u00a0Alfredo Pujol said. \u201cWe saw that this\u00a0month as\u00a0Miami welcomed fans from around the globe for the FIFA World Cup. Indeed,\u00a0sales of\u00a0homes priced $1 million and above surged 29.1% year over year to 483\u00a0transactions.\u00a0Meanwhile, the median sales price for single-family homes ticked 3.7% higher to $695,000,\u00a0and\u00a0the median\u00a0condo\u00a0price slid 3.1%\u00a0to $431,000.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cWhile sales broadly rose across price tiers, the million-dollar segment continued to outperform, with June sales up 40% from one year ago, a clear indication of the acceleration in wealth migration to South Florida,\u201d MIAMI REALTORS\u00ae +\u00a0RWorld\u00a0Chief Economist Gay\u00a0Cororaton\u00a0said.\u00a0<\/p>\n
