TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – A registered sex offender was sentenced in federal court for more sex crimes, according to the U.S. Attorney\u2019s Office. <\/p>\n
Dawaun Jackson, 40, of Tallahassee was sentenced to 20 years for one count attempted enticement of a minor and one count of penalties for registered sex offenders.<\/p>\n
Jackson was arrested as part of \u2018Operation Safe Harvest,\u2019<\/a> which was aimed at identifying and arresting those who use the internet to target children. He pleaded guilty<\/a> in May. <\/p>\n More on crime in our area:<\/p>\n Court documents show that, during the operation, an officer poses as a 15-year-old girl and posted an ad online.
