TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) \u2014 A Tampa man is on trial for a 2023 murder case involving a threesome that went violently wrong, prosecutors said.<\/p>\n

According to authorities, Dewayne Gallishaw and his boyfriend at the time invited a man over to their apartment on March Harbor Place for a sexual encounter on April 19, 2023.<\/p>\n

The State Attorney’s Office for the 13th Judicial Circuit said that while the two other men were together, Gallishaw went into a bedroom, grabbed a gun, and pointed it at his boyfriend before shooting the other man in the head.<\/p>\n

Gallishaw’s boyfriend then ran and locked himself in the bedroom to call 911.<\/p>\n

Prosecutors said the defendant fired several times through the closed door, with the bullets going through to another apartment and injuring a 73-year-old woman.<\/p>\n

If convicted, Gallishaw could face a life sentence in prison.<\/p>\n
