The\u00a0Cape Coral Cyclones ECNL RL Boys\u00a0are bringing back their\u00a03rd Annual Cornhole Tournament\u00a0Saturday, Sept. 19,\u00a0at\u00a0Torched Bar & Grill\u00a0in Cape Coral.<\/p>\n
Join the Cyclones for a day of fun, friendly competition and community support at the local fundraiser. Teams of two can compete for a chance to win the\u00a0$300 first place cash prize\u00a0with a\u00a0$65 team entry fee. Players are welcome to bring their own favorite cornhole bags, or use the bags provided at the event. Teams will be\u00a0randomly matched through Scoreholio\u00a0and compete in a\u00a0double-elimination bracket format, giving everyone the chance to battle it out for the championship.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Beyond the competition, guests can enjoy an incredible day featuring\u00a0raffle prizes, a 50\/50 cash drawing, food and drinks from Torched Bar & Grill, music, and fun for the entire community.\u00a0Raffle tickets will be available for $5 each, and last year the community showed incredible support by purchasing nearly\u00a02,000 raffle tickets.<\/p>\n
Funds raised from the tournament help offset the costs of league play, tournament travel, training, uniforms and other team expenses, ensuring that every player has the opportunity to compete at the highest level. According to team officials, the goal extends beyond simply raising money \u2014 \u201cwe are committed to making sure that financial circumstances never become the reason a player is unable to participate.\u201d Every athlete who earns a spot on this team deserves the opportunity to compete without the burden of overwhelming costs. By supporting this fundraiser, the community is helping remove financial barriers and ensuring these young athletes can continue pursuing their passion, building lifelong friendships and representing Southwest Florida with pride.<\/p>\n
