The newest show with a \u201cwhodunnit\u201d vibe is now in Orlando. It\u2019s called Speakeasy Murder Mystery Dinner Show, just off International Drive.
\nPerformer Alexis Turner gets to channel Carmen, the up-and-coming star of a New York nightclub during the roaring 20s. \u201cShe\u2019s pretty young and youthful, so she gets kind of a more forward accent here,\u201d Turner said, theatrically. \u201cShe\u2019s very nasally.\u201d
\nThe \u201cSpeakeasy Murder & Other Acts of Prohibition\u201d room buzzes with bootleggers, gangsters and flappers. Expect to interact with members of the cast within this space at The Jewel, adjacent to Teatro Martini. The pre-show starts 90 minutes prior.
\nThe Speakeasy Murder is family-friendly, rated PG-13.
