(<a data-ylk=\"slk:QUEEN CITY NEWS;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas;\" data-yga=\"{&quot;yLinkElement&quot;:&quot;link&quot;,&quot;yLinkElementType&quot;:&quot;article_link&quot;}\" href=\"http:\/\/QCNEWS.COM\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">QUEEN CITY NEWS<\/a>) \u2014 Two people wanted out of Florida were arrested by the U.S. Marshals Service in Richmond County Wednesday morning, deputies say.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Leon Alejandro, Jr., 21, and Samantha Angeline Feliz, 20, of Hollywood in Broward County, Florida, were arrested in the 900 block of Ledbetter Road in Rockingham and were charged with several charges, including aggravated manslaughter of a child, false information concerning a missing child, false reports to law enforcement during investigation, and tampering with\/fabricating physical evidence.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">All aforementioned charges are related to Florida General Statutes.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Hollywood Police investigator began investigating the two suspects in early 2025. Sometime between December 6, 2024 and January 5, 2025, officials say Feliz concealed the birth of her child. During the child&#8217;s first month of life, other family members saw the couple with the baby. After that, the baby was never seen again.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Both parents denied that the child was theirs, claiming it was a prank.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Despite the lack of an official birth certificate and medical records since the birth occurred outside of a hospital, the investigation yielded enough evidence to charge the pair.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The two fled to Richmond County and were living on the property of a relative of Alejandro&#8217;s at the time of the arrest.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Both are being held in the Richmond County Jail as they await return to Florida.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Copyright 2026 Nexstar Media, Inc.
