{"id":349749,"date":"2026-07-23T11:54:55","date_gmt":"2026-07-23T11:54:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/349749\/"},"modified":"2026-07-23T11:54:55","modified_gmt":"2026-07-23T11:54:55","slug":"cracker-barrel-sells-maple-street-biscuit-co-to-biscuit-belly-chain","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/349749\/","title":{"rendered":"Cracker Barrel sells Maple Street Biscuit Co. to Biscuit Belly chain"},"content":{"rendered":"<p id=\"h975837-p1\">More than six years after acquiring Maple Street Biscuit Co. with plans to expand the brand, Cracker Barrel Old Country Store Inc. has sold the <a href=\"https:\/\/jaxtoday.org\/2022\/10\/06\/maple-street-biscuit-co-falls-short-on-expansion-plans\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">downsized restaurant chain<\/a> founded in Jacksonville.<\/p>\n<p id=\"h975837-p2\">Cracker Barrel said it sold Maple Street to Biscuit Belly, which describes itself as a \u201cgourmet biscuit sandwich concept\u201d and said it will convert the Maple Street sites \u2014 including locations in Fleming Island, San Marco and Baymeadows \u2014 to its brand.<\/p>\n<p id=\"h975837-p3\">Maple Street had 51 restaurants after <a href=\"https:\/\/jaxtoday.org\/2025\/09\/25\/maple-street-biscuit-closings\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">closing 19 locations<\/a> since the spring of 2025.
