The Sanibel City Council is accepting applications for the Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee and the Municipal Police Pension Board of Trustees.<\/p>\n
PARKS AND RECREATION ADVISORY COMMITTEE<\/p>\n
Applications are being accepted to fill four seats on the committee:<\/p>\n
\u2013 One seat is currently vacant for a partial term ending on Sept. 10, 2027<\/p>\n
\u2013 One seat is currently vacant for a partial term ending on Sept. 8, 2028<\/p>\n
\u2013 Two seats are available due to expiring terms beginning on Sept. 12 and expiring on Sept. 14, 2029<\/p>\n
Responsibilities include:<\/p>\n
\u2013 Attend monthly meetings on the third Thursday of each month at 9 a.m.<\/p>\n
\u2013 Make recommendations to the city council and city manager regarding the items listed in the Sanibel City Charter \u2014 Section 2-168. Functions and Duties.<\/p>\n
Qualifications include:<\/p>\n
\u2013 Members are appointed by the city council<\/p>\n
\u2013 Appointees must be full-time residents of Sanibel<\/p>\n
