Appearing on AnesTea The Podcast, the Greek superstar made it clear that being in Miami gives him a new purpose after his decorated stint as the Bucks’ franchise player.<\/p>\n

“I was thinking that I would be in Milwaukee for my entire career. But then I saw that I’m in the confort zone. I was in my confort zone. I wanted something different. And I’m happy to be in Miami. In Miami now, I won’t lie, I don’t feel comfortable,” Antetokounmpo said, via<\/a> HoopsHype.<\/p>\n

“I don’t know the team, but I’m going over there and I will do my best. I’ve been doing this my whole life, and I hope it turns out well. I love the city of Milwaukee. I will love Milwaukee until I die. I bleed purple and green. It’s very simple. They made me who I am today.”<\/p>\n

Giannis Antetokounmpo established himself as the greatest player in the Milwaukee Bucks’ history, leading the franchise to its second NBA title back in 2021.<\/p>\n

From being a mysterious, lanky teenager drafted in 2013, Giannis delivered one of the greatest transformations in NBA history by becoming a two-time MVP, Defensive Player of the Year, an All-NBA talent and a future Hall of Famer for Milwaukee.<\/p>\n

Giannis open for Bucks reunion <\/p>\n

While he is set for brand-new beginnings in South Beach, Antetokounmpo still has not lost that fond consideration for Milwaukee and the possibility of playing in a Bucks uniform again.<\/p>\n

In the end, Giannis is also not closing his door for a potential Milwaukee homecoming to rejoin the Bucks in the near future.<\/p>\n

“Basketball-wise, I had a great time there. That will always be in my heart. That will never leave. I don\u2019t know but I hope when the Miami chapter closes, and I don\u2019t know when or if it will, and I don\u2019t know how many years I\u2019ll spend there, but I wish to return to Milwaukee if they\u2019ll have me,\u201d Giannis stated.<\/p>\n
