Marcello Hern\u00e1ndez is taking over Hollywood! We first met the Miami comedian on Instagram, at Only-in-Dade, then Saturday Night Live, and now he\u2019s a movie star sharing the screen with Kevin Hart in a rated-R bachelor party story set right here in the 305. I met the cast at LIV Nightclub for a convo that was PG-13.<\/p>\n
Kevin Hart is an old fart in the new Netflix comedy 72 Hours.<\/p>\n
He plays an advertising executive who crashes a Gen Z bachelor party in the 305, where Miami\u2019s own Marcello Hern\u00e1ndez proves he can go toe-to-toe with one of Hollywood\u2019s biggest stars.<\/p>\n
Alex Miranda: \u201cThis city\u2019s so proud of you, and I know that you know that.\u201d<\/p>\n
Marcello Hern\u00e1ndez: \u201cI love my city.\u201d<\/p>\n
Alex Miranda: \u201cAnd I feel like we\u2019ve been on this ride almost with you into superstardom from Only-in-Dade and on. People have watched every single step.<\/p>\n
Marcello Hern\u00e1ndez: \u201cIt\u2019s a blessing. And I think that the reason that they are with me is because they know how influential Miami is on a person and how important of a city it is. And so they know that I would not be here without them and that the reason they\u2019re proud of me is because of how much I love them.\u201d<\/p>\n
Then Kevin weighed in.<\/p>\n
Kevin Hart: \u201cThe first thing is finding out that, you know, he\u2019s everything to you guys. I would be doing you guys a disservice if I didn\u2019t tell you. You gotta find somebody else. He\u2019s not. He\u2019s gonna let you guys down. No, I\u2019m joking. I\u2019m joking. It\u2019s a matter of time before we see Marcello as number one on the call sheet.\u201d<\/p>\n
As for getting older\u2026<\/p>\n
Kevin Hart: \u201cTo be unaware is a bad thing. Like to be the person that\u2019s getting older and not realize that there is a younger happening. It\u2019s okay. And take a step back and let that wave hit and embrace it. You come off much better.\u201d<\/p>\n
So who would be the troublemaker?<\/p>\n
Marcello Hern\u00e1ndez: \u201cKam and I would get in a lot of trouble. And then Mason would beat somebody up and go to jail for us.<\/p>\n
Mason Gooding: \u201cYou\u2019d think it\u2019d be going their way and then I\u2019d be in prison.<\/p>\n
Alex Miranda: \u201cWe could tell that you can beat some people up.\u201d<\/p>\n
Mason Gooding: \u201cYeah. I mean, I was a 300-pound kid, so a lot of rotisserie chicken, and boxing.<\/p>\n
Marcello Hern\u00e1ndez: \u201cHe doesn\u2019t eat snacks. He doesn\u2019t eat candy. He doesn\u2019t eat anything that\u2019s fun. Everything that he eats is boring, and that\u2019s why he looks like that.\u201d<\/p>\n
Kam Patterson: \u201cHe don\u2019t start eating till like two o\u2019clock.\u201d<\/p>\n

Alex Miranda: \u201cTell me about the craziest night that you all have had in Miami.\u201d<\/p>\n
Kevin Hart: \u201cTim got so drunk that I found him in a bathroom stall. He passed out asleep. And his glasses. His glasses were in the toilet while we were sleeping. They were in the toilet.\u201d<\/p>\n
And finally, the internet also has one burning question.<\/p>\n
Alex Miranda: \u201cPeople are literally feral Marcello over this sugar bump on Hot Ones. How do you feel about that? What\u2019s your response?\u201d<\/p>\n
Marcello Hern\u00e1ndez: \u201cI don\u2019t know about the feral nature.\u201d<\/p>\n
Alex Miranda: \u201cPeople are really reading into it.\u201d<\/p>\n
Marcello Hern\u00e1ndez: \u201cI needed some sugar in that moment, so I needed it. And I think you could tell.\u201d<\/p>\n
Alex Miranda: \u201cI think we could.\u201d<\/p>\n
Mason Gooding: \u201cThat had to be the best episode of Hot Ones.\u201d<\/p>\n
