On this week\u2019s Sustainable Living show, Jon is joined by expert guests Angela Collins and Eric Cassiano to discuss Florida\u2019s natural aquatic environments and aquaculture.<\/p>\n
Angela Collins is the Assistant Extension Scientist for Sea Grant and UF\u2019s School of Fisheries at the Tropical Aquaculture Lab in Ruskin, Florida. Her \u201cresearch and extension programs focus on Florida\u2019s marine fisheries and bivalve shellfish aquaculture industries. Angela works primarily with recreational anglers, commercial seafood producers, and bivalve shellfish growers to encourage science that will benefit coastal economies and environments and promote best practices that will support local sustainable fisheries.<\/p>\n
Eric Cassiano is also an Assistant Extension Scientist at the Florida Tropical Aquaculture Laboratory.<\/p>\n
