(WCTV) &#8211; A jury found a Tallahassee man guilty as charged Friday of molesting a teenage boy.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The guilty verdict for 41-year-old Terrance Booker came after only 45 minutes of deliberation, prosecutors say. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Booker is accused of assaulting a total of five boys over the past 15 years. This case was the first to go to trial. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Booker served as a youth director at his church and worked at an after-school program at a local elementary school until his arrest in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wctv.tv\/2025\/08\/29\/tallahassee-church-youth-director-accused-sexual-assault-bonds-out-jail\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.wctv.tv\/2025\/08\/29\/tallahassee-church-youth-director-accused-sexual-assault-bonds-out-jail\/\">August 2025.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"figure-img img-fluid mx-auto d-block\" alt=\"Terrance Booker's mugshot.\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/1784936408_247_FWP7ZFWLHZBZTDKLCXAATZ53JE.png\" width=\"980\" height=\"551\" \/>Terrance Booker&#8217;s mugshot.(Leon County Sheriff&#8217;s Office)<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text text-start\">Booker was convicted on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wctv.tv\/2025\/09\/24\/former-tallahassee-church-youth-director-facing-8-new-charges-connection-with-child-sex-crimes\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.wctv.tv\/2025\/09\/24\/former-tallahassee-church-youth-director-facing-8-new-charges-connection-with-child-sex-crimes\/\">charges of lewd and lascivious conduct<\/a> and sexual battery on a child under 16. The abuse allegedly took place between 2010 and 2015.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text text-start\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wctv.tv\/2026\/07\/23\/former-tallahassee-youth-minister-trial-accused-molesting-teen-boy\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.wctv.tv\/2026\/07\/23\/former-tallahassee-youth-minister-trial-accused-molesting-teen-boy\/\">During the trial<\/a>, which began Thursday, the victim took the stand. Everyone except his family was asked to leave the courtroom during his testimony.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text text-start\">Booker was taken into custody after Friday\u2019s guilty verdict to await sentencing.
