Orlando Health \u2014 Health Central Hospital was designated a Primary Florida Resuscitation Center of Excellence.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The hospital is the first in West Orange County to receive the designation.\u00a0<\/p>\n
“This designation underscores the hospital’s ongoing commitment to delivering advanced, lifesaving care to cardiac arrest patients and improving survival outcomes throughout the community,” according to a press release.<\/p>\n
In order to receive the designation, the hospital must meet and self-attest to the criteria the Florida Resuscitation Committee has set. Criteria includes demonstrating a collaborative partnership with local EMS providers, multi-disciplinary team-led comprehensive patient care plans, and community involvement to educate the public on how to recognize and respond to cardiac emergencies.\u00a0<\/p>\n
