A woman took a trip to Hilton Orlando and stayed the night in a suite. Then, after two days in the hotel, she noticed that all of her belongings had suddenly disappeared.<\/p>\n
Nadine (@roxystar80) said that everything she owned vanished from her hotel room.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201c\u200aLiterally all I have is my jacket, and my clothes I wore yesterday,\u201d she said. As of this writing, her post has more than 318,000 views, with subsequent updates revealing that housekeeping \u201cremoved\u201d her belongings but did not store them away.<\/p>\n
What Happened At This Hilton? <\/p>\n
Nadine checked into a Hilton<\/a> Orlando property to attend a conference. She arrived on a Monday and stayed throughout the week.<\/p>\n On Wednesday, Nadine decided to pack some of her belongings that she didn\u2019t need in the room. The content creator explained that she lives between 30 and 50 minutes away from the hotel depending on traffic. She left some clothes, sodas, coconut water, and conference-related materials in the room.<\/p>\n She headed back home for an event that she had to attend and then drove back to the hotel the same evening. When she returned, she went to bed. By the very next morning, she realized that everything except her toothbrush and toothpaste had been removed from the room.<\/p>\n Nadine called the hotel front desk.<\/p>\n \u201cThey were like, \u2018Oh, I don\u2019t know what to tell you. You can come down and check the lost and found if you want,\u2019\u201d Nadine said. \u201c\u200aI don\u2019t wanna check the lost and found, and I shouldn\u2019t have to go check a lost and found bin. I don\u2019t know what to do. And I have to go to the conference.\u201d<\/p>\n Did She Get Her Stuff Back? <\/p>\n Nadine told her viewers that she ultimately went to the conference without getting her belongings back. She said she decided her sanity was worth more than the cost of the items she left in the room anyway.<\/p>\n Nadine posted an updated video where she said she thought that the hotel staff took her belongings due to an \u201chonest mistake.\u201d However, she thought it was strange that the cleaning crew left her toothbrush and toothpaste in the room, and that the hotel staff didn\u2019t treat her concerns as an urgent issue.<\/p>\n She expressed surprise at the way staff at the hotel approached the situation. Despite explaining that someone removed the items from her room, they offered little to no support. Nadine explained that a hotel staff member implied she could file a report, according to her testimony, but they didn\u2019t offer to find her possessions or compensate her for the loss.\u00a0<\/p>\n To further reiterate how inconvenient it was, she explained that because they took her things, she no longer had drinks, such as bottled water, in her room. She went to the front desk to ask for water, as she needed to take a medication. They then pointed her toward a market, where she would have to purchase a drink.<\/p>\n Nadine confirmed in her comment section that the hotel apparently lost a majority of her possessions, and that they only recovered one item\u2014a hat.<\/p>\n \u201cSecurity initially told me everything would be bagged,\u201d Nadine said. \u201cCool cool.
