JACKSONVILLE, Fla. \u2014 Neighbors and office managers in Jacksonville\u2019s Englewood neighborhood are sounding off about a vacant building\u2019s alarm. <\/p>\n
\u201cI can\u2019t even spend time in the backyard with my kid in their pool, it was ridiculous,\u201d said Hank Fleury, who lives right next to the Hickson Road building. \u201cIt\u2019s all day, you can hear it at night, It keeps you up.\u201d<\/p>\n
Fleury says the loud, blaring siren sound has been going off for at least a month during the day, and for over a year at night.<\/p>\n
>>> STREAM ACTION NEWS JAX LIVE <<<<\/a><\/p>\n Hank isn\u2019t the only one upset about the alarm.<\/p>\n \u201cOh, we\u2019re frustrated,\u201d said Dawn Hacker. <\/p>\n Dawn Hacker with Wolchok Eye Associates says she called JSO several times, but they told her to file a noise ordinance complaint. However, the complaint was closed citing \u201cno noise violations were found.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cIf it goes an hour without it, that\u2019s a good hour,\u201d said Hacker.<\/p>\n On the building, there was a phone number for leasing.
