{"id":352259,"date":"2026-07-25T16:13:07","date_gmt":"2026-07-25T16:13:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/352259\/"},"modified":"2026-07-25T16:13:07","modified_gmt":"2026-07-25T16:13:07","slug":"lee-county-dot-traffic-pattern-changes-on-three-oaks-parkway-extension-and-palomino-lane-starting-aug-3-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/352259\/","title":{"rendered":"Lee County DOT: Traffic pattern changes on Three Oaks Parkway Extension and Palomino Lane starting Aug. 3"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Lee County Department of Transportation advises motorists that Three Oaks Parkway Extension traffic will be using the new southbound travel lanes beginning Aug. 3, weather permitting.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ogden_images.s3.amazonaws.com\/florida.ogdennews.com\/images\/sites\/2\/2026\/07\/25093950\/7-24-26_Lee-DOT-advises-motorists-of-Three-Oaks-Parkway-Ext.-traffic-pattern-changes-MAP.pdf\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">7-24-26_Lee DOT advises motorists of Three Oaks Parkway Ext. traffic pattern changes MAP<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The following traffic pattern changes are included:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022   Southbound traffic will be shifted to the inside lane of the new southbound Three Oaks Parkway.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022   There will be right-in\/right-out turning movements at Cody Lee Road and the new southern Publix Shopping Center entrance.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022   Northbound traffic on Three Oaks Parkway remains on the current outside lane. Left turns will be permitted into the new southern Publix Shopping Center entrance.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022   Old Fiddlesticks Boulevard will be closed between the roundabout and the southern access to the Publix Shopping Center at the Fiddlesticks Cafe to facilitate final construction of this roadway segment.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022   Phase 1 will remain closed.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022   In preparation for the improvements to Palomino Lane, northbound traffic will be shifted to the west into the bi-directional left turn lane north of Jobe Road\/Kings Crossing.<\/p>\n<p>This work is necessary as part of the Lee DOT project that will extend Three Oaks Parkway from Alico Road to Daniels Parkway and widen Daniels Parkway to eight lanes from Danport Boulevard to Powers Court \/ Apaloosa Lane. Construction is expected to be complete in Spring 2028 but currently is running ahead of schedule.<\/p>\n<p>This is a Tier 1 project for the Lee Board of County Commissioners, which strategically prioritizes infrastructure as the county\u2019s population grows.<\/p>\n<p>For more information about the Three Oaks Parkway Extension Project, visit <a href=\"https:\/\/threeoaksextension.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">threeoaksextension.com<\/a>.
