PETERSBURG, Fla. \u2014 In a week full of coaches, quotes and preseason storylines, USF\u2019s new head football coach, Brian Hartline, stood out.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The new<a href=\"https:\/\/sportstalkflorida.com\/tampa-bay-rays\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"> Bulls <\/a>head coach used American Conference Media Days to make a strong first impression in St. Petersburg, and the message was clear: USF is aiming higher. Hartline brought energy, confidence and a polished, upbeat tone to the conference\u2019s kickoff event, giving the Bulls a level of buzz that can matter in late July.<\/p>\n<p>A strong first stage<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For a first-year coach, media days are more than a photo-op.
