{"id":352312,"date":"2026-07-25T18:03:33","date_gmt":"2026-07-25T18:03:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/352312\/"},"modified":"2026-07-25T18:03:33","modified_gmt":"2026-07-25T18:03:33","slug":"jet-aviation-officially-opens-new-private-jet-terminal-in-miami","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/352312\/","title":{"rendered":"Jet Aviation officially opens new private jet terminal in Miami"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/privatejetcardcomparisons.com\/providers\/jet-aviation-flight-services-inc\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jet Aviation\u2019s<\/a> new FBO at Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport is now fully operational.<\/p>\n<p>The 27-acre facility includes an 8,500-square-foot terminal.<\/p>\n<p>There is 40,000 square feet of new hangarage.<\/p>\n<p>The unit of General Dynamics launched initial operations at the site in November 2025 with a temporary terminal building.<\/p>\n<p>The permanent facility is an 8,500-square-foot <a href=\"https:\/\/privatejetcardcomparisons.com\/the-basics\/what-is-an-fbo-explaining-fixed-base-operators\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">FBO building<\/a> with a 540,000-square-foot ramp capable of accommodating larger-cabin, ultra-long-range business jets.<\/p>\n<p>There are two taxiway connections into the airport system, fueling with Jet-A, 100LL, and sustainable aviation fuel, and drive-on access to the ramp via a private entrance. <\/p>\n<p>On-site Customs and Border Protection is scheduled to open in Q3 2026.<\/p>\n<p>President Jeremie Caillet said, \u201cOur entry into Miami-Opa Locka marks a significant milestone for Jet Aviation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He added, \u201cAs one of the busiest business aviation gateways in the Americas, Miami is a key destination for customers around the world, connecting them to North America, Latin America, the Caribbean, and beyond.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The modern architecture and interior design draw on a classic Miami aesthetic, with an open-plan layout and floor-to-ceiling windows providing unobstructed airside views to the ramp and runway. <\/p>\n<p>Amenities included dedicated office spaces, guest and crew lounge areas, and a private conference room. <\/p>\n<p>The facility is built to LEED standards and features solar panels, low-flow water fixtures, and LED lighting.<\/p>\n<p>There is also AV and EV charging.<\/p>\n<p>Miami is the company\u2019s 12th FBO in the U.S.<\/p>\n<p>It is the <a href=\"https:\/\/privatejetcardcomparisons.com\/2026\/01\/24\/2025s-busiest-u-s-private-jet-airports\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">7th busiest<\/a> private jet airport in the country.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/privatejetcardcomparisons.com\/aircraft\/gulfstream\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Gulfstream Aerospace<\/a> sister company has 30 worldwide.<\/p>\n<p> It recently <a href=\"https:\/\/privatejetcardcomparisons.com\/2026\/06\/23\/jet-aviation-plans-denver-fbo-at-rocky-mountain-airport\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">announced the signing<\/a> of a long-term lease for an FBO at Denver\u2019s Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport, scheduled to launch in 2028. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Jet Aviation\u2019s new FBO at Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport is now fully operational.
