The cruise line addressed the incident on Instagram<\/a>, emphasizing that “forks are intended for food, not for foot care.”<\/p>\n In its message, the company added, “Once we became aware of the situation, our team quickly addressed it with the guest and removed the utensil from service.”<\/p>\n Carnival acknowledged that while the clips may seem humorous, “cleanliness and hygiene are no joke to us.”<\/p>\n “Our crew works hard every day to maintain high standards across our feet fleet and to ensure all guests enjoy a safe, clean, and comfortable vacation.”<\/p>\n The six\u2011part video series, posted by\u00a0lucky_charmedcourt, has amassed more than 28 million views and shows the passenger scratching her foot with her hands<\/a> as white flakes fall to the ground, followed by her using a fork to continue scratching<\/a>.
