(CBS12) \u2014 A Secret Service employee has been placed on administrative leave after officials say he and two others were arrested in a hazing case that hospitalized victims.<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/miami\/news\/us-secret-service-miami-hazing-marquez-christopher-pinder\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">CBS News Miami<\/a>, the suspects were identified as 29-year-old Marquez Pinder, 26-year-old Jared Lamar James, and 29-year-old Elijah Delano Dyous. Prosecutors allege that the hazing was severe enough to require hospitalization.<\/p>\n<p>Pinder, a U.S. Secret Service employee, is now on administrative leave.<\/p>\n<p>Miami-Dade State Attorney<a href=\"https:\/\/miamisao.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"> Katherine Fernandez Rundle<\/a>, Miami-Dade Sheriff <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/sheriff_rosie\/?hl=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Rosie Cordero-Stutz<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/cityofsweetwater.fl.gov\/182\/Police\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Sweetwater Police Chief Sergio Diez <\/a>announced the arrests.<\/p>\n<p>See also: <a href=\"https:\/\/cbs12.com\/news\/local\/haitian-tps-protections-end-bringing-uncertainty-for-south-florida-workers-and-families\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Haitian TPS protections end, bringing uncertainty for South Florida workers, and families<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The United States Secret Service takes seriously any criminal allegations involving one of our employees,&#8221; Miami Field Office Special Agent in Charge Michael Townsend said in a statement obtained by CBS News Miami. &#8220;As the agent in charge of the Miami Field Office, I have been informed that a local law enforcement agency is investigating one of our employees. We are fully cooperating with the investigation.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Authorities have not released details about the alleged hazing incident at this time.
