PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. (CBS12) \u2014 Arrests were made on Wednesday after shots were fired <\/a>outside a Port St. Lucie pub.<\/p>\n

A late-night bar debate about how many eggs a chicken can lay ended with gunfire outside Harper\u2019s Pub early Tuesday, according to the Port St. Lucie Police Department (PSLPD). Officers responded to 1774 SE Port St. Lucie Blvd. around 2:48 a.m. on Nov. 4 after reports of shots fired.<\/p>\n

Investigators say 44-year-old Peter Riera met three people \u2014 two men and a woman in their 20s \u2014 while drinking inside the pub.<\/p>\n

The group\u2019s casual conversation about how many eggs a chicken can lay continued after last call, when they moved outside.<\/p>\n

Police say Riera smoked marijuana in the parking lot and soon became paranoid and agitated, accusing the others of trying to \u201ccon\u201d him. <\/p>\n

Moments later, officers say, he pulled a .45-caliber Glock 30 and fired four shots as the group ran.<\/p>\n

Miraculously, no one was hit.<\/p>\n

Police say Riera himself was the 911 caller, telling dispatchers he had fired a gun.<\/p>\n

Just feet from the scene, a sign on the bar\u2019s front door reads: \u201cNo Guns Allowed.\u201d<\/p>\n

Police arrested Riera for:<\/p>\n

3 counts of Attempted Aggravated Battery with a Deadly Weapon2 counts of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon4 counts of Discharging a Firearm in Public 1 count of Use of a Firearm While Under the Influence<\/p>\n

The gunfire led to a heavy police presence at the Boulevard Shoppes plaza, where crime scene tape cordoned off the area. Forensic teams documented the scene and recovered four shell casings. Investigators were also seen examining a vehicle parked in the lot. <\/p>\n

During the police response, 24-year-old Brandon Pace was arrested for allegedly obstructing officers and kicking two of them while being detained. He faces:<\/p>\n

Additionally, 26-year-old Kayla Damiani was arrested for resisting an officer without violence after she ran toward officers while they were detaining Pace, despite being ordered to stay back.<\/p>\n

Riera and Pace are being held at the St. Lucie County Jail without bond. Damiani was released on a $500 bond.<\/p>\n
