LUCIE COUNTY \u2013 Prosecutors have dropped charges against an 18-year-old Fort Pierce man, accused of shooting a 17-year-old girl on June 2.<\/p>\n<p>Prosecutors dropped the attempted second-degree murder charge on July 8 against Jah\u2019shaun Lebron Crosby, who was arrested by Fort Pierce Police for allegedly shooting a 17-year-old girl.<\/p>\n<p>On June 2, Fort Pierce Police officers responded to a shooting in the 500 block of North 19th Street, Fort Pierce where the victim was suffering from a gunshot wound.<\/p>\n<p>She was taken to a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.<\/p>\n<p>Assistant State Attorney Steven Paku, who submitted paperwork dropping the charge against Crosby, did not give a reason, according to court documents.<\/p>\n<p>Crosby was released on July 8, a jail spokesperson said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"ST.
