JACKSONVILLE, Fla. \u2014 The family of Billy \u201cBigga Rankin\u201d Plummer has announced plans for a celebration of life for the DJ and promoter credited with shaping Southern hip-hop.<\/p>\n
Plummer\u2019s family announced his death Monday on social media<\/a>. <\/p>\n A legacy spanning more than 30 years, he played a pivotal role in helping multiple hip-hop artists grow their careers, such as Rick Ross, Plies, Gucci Mane, Jeezy, and T.I.
