LEE COUNTY, Fla. \u2014<\/p>\n
A death investigation is underway after deputies with the Lee County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene of a structure fire in the 11000 block of Ranchette Road Saturday afternoon. Investigators say that the fire was set on purpose.<\/p>\n
Deputies say that one person was found dead. <\/p>\n
In a post on X<\/a>, LCSO says that detectives with the Major Crimes Unit are investigating.<\/p>\n Investigators with the South Trail Fire Protection & Rescue Service District and State Fire Marshall’s Office say that this fire, which originated in the kitchen of the home, was incendiary, or intentionally set.<\/p>\n \u201cSince early this morning. Yeah, we started noticing the cars,\u201d said neighbor Ryan Jasper.<\/p>\n Drivers have been seen making U-turns as deputies restricted access to the area, allowing emergency crews to enter.<\/p>\n \u201cNot a lot goes on here.
