Spanning the mid-1930\u2019s through the early 2000\u2019s, the exhibition will explore the pioneering visionaries, remarkable animals, and unforgettable experiences that helped establish South Florida as an international destination for nature, conservation, education, and family adventure.<\/p>\n<p>To help tell this story, we are inviting the community to share the memories and memorabilia that brought these places to life. Whether through a donation or temporary loan, your treasured keepsakes can help preserve this important chapter of our region\u2019s history for future generations.<\/p>\n<p>We are seeking a wide variety of items, including:<br \/>\u25cf Admission tickets, brochures, maps, and guidebooks.<br \/>\u25cf Souvenir programs, postcards, decals, patches, and pennants.<br \/>\u25cf T-shirts, hats, pins, toys, and collectible merchandise.<br \/>\u25cf Photographs of family visits and special occasions.<br \/>\u25cf Home movies, slides, or vintage postcards.<br \/>\u25cf Newspaper clippings, advertisements, and promotional materials.<br \/>\u25cf Employee uniforms, name badges, manuals, or photographs.<br \/>\u25cf Animal feeding cups, souvenir cups, signage, or attraction memorabilia.<br \/>\u25cf Personal letters, scrapbooks, diaries, or stories connected to the attractions.<br \/>\u25cf Any other artifacts that capture the spirit of Parrot Jungle, the Miami Serpentarium, Rare Bird Farm, or other South Florida living attractions from the era.<\/p>\n<p>Do you have photographs posing with Pinky, feeding flamingos, watching the famous bird shows beneath the banyan trees, visiting the Serpentarium\u2019s legendary venom milking demonstrations, or exploring the Rare Bird Farm? We\u2019d love to hear your stories and see your memories.<\/p>\n<p>Every photograph, artifact, and personal recollection helps tell the story of the people, animals, and places that inspired generations of visitors and continue to shape Pinecrest Gardens today.<\/p>\n<p>Share Your Story<br \/>Email your photographs, memories, or information about artifacts available for donation or temporary loan to <a href=\"https:\/\/communitynewspapers.com\/pinecrest-tribune\/wings-scales-wonder-pinecrests-legacy-of-living-attractions\/mailto:info@pinecrestgardens.org\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">info@pinecrestgardens.org<\/a>.
