He says the city\u2019s plan to renovate the Westmoreland bike trail in the Callahan neighborhood is a meaningful step in the right direction.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Box-_wrDxHtU__Box-sc-10sa3ie-0 Text-nO2aZ44r__TextBase-sc-s2hv5x-0 jJNfBD fSvavs article-text\">At the intersection of Washington Street and Westmoreland, indentations along the path are visible in multiple spots. Those dips can be hazardous for people walking or biking through the corridor. Bryant says he has fallen along the trail himself.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Box-_wrDxHtU__Box-sc-10sa3ie-0 Text-nO2aZ44r__TextBase-sc-s2hv5x-0 jJNfBD fSvavs article-text\">\u201cThe good thing about it, like I say, once you do one fall you know not to go that trail,\u201d Bryant said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Box-_wrDxHtU__Box-sc-10sa3ie-0 Text-nO2aZ44r__TextBase-sc-s2hv5x-0 jJNfBD fSvavs article-text\">Orlando\u2019s District 5 Commissioner Shan Rose says, the repairs are meant to improve safety \u2014 especially for children who walk to the nearby ACE School.
