Orlando Health’s pet therapy program offers comfort to patients and families<\/p>\n

Orlando Health’s growing Paws for Hope Pet Therapy Program, supported by volunteers and donations, provides emotional support to patients, families, and staff through trained therapy dogs and their handlers.<\/p>\n

ORLANDO, Fla. \u2014<\/p>\n

Orlando Health’s Paws for Hope Pet Therapy Program is bringing comfort and connection to patients, families, and staff across its healthcare network. <\/p>\n

The program also offers specialized opportunities for teams, such as joining the Critical Incident Response Team (CIRT), where handlers and their dogs receive training to respond to critical incidents across the system. <\/p>\n

Recruitment opportunities are available. <\/p>\n

Donations are vital to sustaining and expanding the program. <\/p>\n

Those interested in supporting the initiative can make donations to help grow the pet therapy program throughout the Orlando Health System. <\/p>\n
