KISSIMMEE, Fla. \u2013 The Orlando Squeeze will be the host team for Major League Pickleball\u2019s final regular season tournament this weekend, happening at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. <\/p>\n

The Squeeze, currently in 14th place, need a few wins to get into the playoffs, and they\u2019re hoping for some magic in front of a good crowd.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s incredible, especially being the home team,\u201d said Squeeze player Jack Sock about playing pickleball at Disney. \u201cI think we will have amazing crowds and a lot of support this weekend. It\u2019s going to be really fun; the energy will be great, and I\u2019m excited to play pickleball here at Disney.\u201d<\/p>\n

The professional pickleball players got a chance to play with Minnie Mouse and Goofy, a moment New Jersey 5s player Anna Leigh Waters said she didn\u2019t see coming.<\/p>\n

\u201cI would have been very surprised if you told me I\u2019d be playing pickleball with Minnie Mouse,\u201d she said. \u201cMost surprising partner for sure.\u201d<\/p>\n

The tournament will run Thursday through Saturday with championship games on Sunday. Tickets can be found on the main website<\/a> to see the pros up close. <\/p>\n

Orlando Squeeze player Yates Johnson encourages people to come out and see the difference on the professional level.<\/p>\n

\u201cSome people are like, \u2018Bro, there\u2019s pro pickleball? That\u2019s crazy,\u2019\u201d he said. \u201cBut once people see it in person, they\u2019re pretty amazed at how fast it is because we are so close to each other. It\u2019s kind of unlike anything in sports.\u201d<\/p>\n
