{"id":358269,"date":"2026-07-31T00:43:20","date_gmt":"2026-07-31T00:43:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/358269\/"},"modified":"2026-07-31T00:43:20","modified_gmt":"2026-07-31T00:43:20","slug":"record-heat-possible-friday-before-rain-chances-rise-wsvn-7news-miami-news-weather-sports","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/358269\/","title":{"rendered":"Record Heat Possible Friday Before Rain Chances Rise &#8211; WSVN 7News | Miami News, Weather, Sports"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">(WSVN) &#8211; More record heat is certainly possible on Friday following record heat \u2014 unofficially \u2014 in Miami and Fort Lauderdale this Thursday as highs soared into the mid 90s!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"576\" width=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/1_0b67ed.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1739811\"  \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The weather setup for Friday remains about the same: hot and humid wind flow out of the west-southwest direction courtesy of high pressure parked over the southeast Gulf waters.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"576\" width=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/1_56bd5c.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1739809\"  \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This will drive highs up and into the mid 90s and heat indices in the mid to upper 100s for most locations Friday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The only change is that rain chances will increase starting Friday afternoon as the moisture presently stuck over central Florida expands across the state. Therefore, expect morning sunshine followed by a round of a passing shower or storm in the afternoon.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"576\" width=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/1_b72bed.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1739814\"  \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This will be a sneak preview of our weekend\u2019s weather because additional storms are expected then. Moisture levels will continue to increase as another storm system heads toward the Southeast US, leading to an unsettled pattern this weekend and into next week.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"576\" width=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/1_f3c957.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1739815\"  \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our weekend won\u2019t be a washout but scattered afternoon storms are a good bet across South Florida both days.
