In a sports landscape that has included some biological males not only competing against, but sharing locker room space with biological females, leagues littering their fields or courts with stenciled woke signage, and teams celebrating Pride nights, wearing Pride warmup jerseys and even Pride-themed uniforms, we present the Jacksonville Jaguars<\/a> this week.<\/p>\n

The Jaguars, in case you are unfamiliar, are an NFL<\/a> team in one of the league\u2019s smaller markets. They\u2019re also the defending AFC South champions.<\/p>\n

And they\u2019re also the organization that put this on X this week:<\/p>\n

\u201cGod is good \u2026 All the time!<\/p>\n

And then added a praying hands emoji.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s quite a banger to start training camp.<\/p>\n

Not surprisingly, people noticed.<\/p>\n

The post was seen 1.9 million times as of Thursday evening after being posted at 10:18 a.m. on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

The Jaguars boast around 857,000 followers on X, which is modest by NFL team standards. Their estimated average posts are viewed by anywhere from 20,000 to maybe 35,000 people.<\/p>\n

But this simple message of faith went absolutely viral for the team.<\/p>\n

It also became a curiosity because it\u2019s obviously atypical.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s atypical because, first of all, it was posted by one of the several players who were given access to the team\u2019s account as a social media admin gimmick. And it worked.<\/p>\n

\u201cRare Jags W, coming from a Texans fan,\u201d one fan replied.<\/p>\n

A Colts<\/a> fan agreed \u2013 the Jaguars, Colts and Texans are in the same division.<\/p>\n

\u201cGreat message,\u201d another fan said.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re winning the Super Bowl,\u201d another offered.<\/p>\n

Some fans added the \u201cJesus is Lord\u201d. Some fans asked if the post was referencing God or other gods.<\/p>\n

But, as with everything on social media, there were those who did not forget the team\u2019s June 1 post on X. That one celebrated the start of Pride month.<\/p>\n

Yes, the Jaguars were among the majority of NFL teams that proudly proclaimed their support for the LGBTQ movement on June 1.<\/p>\n

That post, by the way, got 301,000 views \u2014 or about one-third as many as the one declaring God\u2019s goodness.<\/p>\n
