\u201cTaste! Central Florida\u201d<\/a> brings together local top chefs and restaurants for an evening of dining, cocktails, live entertainment and a mission to combat hunger in our community.<\/p>\nIt\u2019s now in its 37th year, and nearly half of the 70 participating restaurants are locally owned.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere are hundreds and hundreds of a variety of small plates to choose from,\u201d said Taste! co-chair Nicole Spooner. \u201cIt\u2019s a great date night. It\u2019s a great night out with the girls.\u201d They also have nearly 50 beverage vendors to elevate the festivities.<\/p>\n
Since Taste!\u2019s inception, they say they\u2019ve donated nearly $5 million to Second Harvest Food Bank and the Coalition for the Homeless. That\u2019s nearly 20 million meals served to local children and their families who need the extra help.<\/p>\n
