Homes are expected to start in the mid-$200,000s.<\/p>\n<p>Plans also call for a clubhouse, pool and bathhouse, pickleball courts and a playground.<\/p>\n<p>The deal was brokered by Dan Miller, executive vice president, and Dan Rockenstein, senior associate, of Colliers, who represented seller Uniland.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis property attracted tremendous interest from both national and regional homebuilders because of its location, scale and the continued growth of North Fort Myers,\u201d Miller said in a statement. \u201cWe&#8217;re pleased to have helped Uniland achieve an outstanding outcome and look forward to seeing Lennar deliver a community that will provide much-needed housing for the area.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Rockenstein said the site&#8217;s location was a key selling point.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe property is well located and provides excellent regional connectivity,\u201d he said. \u201cLennar&#8217;s planned development is expected to become a significant addition to the area&#8217;s housing inventory, while offering convenient access to employment centers, shopping, schools and recreational amenities.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The sale marks the next phase of a larger redevelopment effort.
