TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – A Tallahassee man was sentenced to two years in federal prison for threatening President Donald Trump and other government officials, according to the U.S. Attorney\u2019s Office. <\/p>\n
Diego Villavicencio, 36<\/a>,was sentenced for two counts of sending interstate threats, one count of impeding or retaliating against a federal official and one count of threats against the President. <\/p>\n According to court documents, Villavicencio made threats on social media over the span of several months. <\/p>\n One post was directed at former Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell, saying he would \u201cbe shot and killed September 23,\u201d court documents show. <\/p>\n More on crime in our area: <\/p>\n Another threat made on his X account was directed at former U.S. Representative Eric Swalwell.
