Tomas Nosek\u00a0spent two seasons with the Florida Panthers and there is no question on his biggest moment with the team.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Nosek had been a healthy scratch at the start of the 2025 playoffs, but by the Stanley Cup Final, he was centering a fourth line which had become integral to Florida\u2019s success.\u00a0<\/p>\n
In the final moments of Florida\u2019s blowout win of the Edmonton Oilers in Game 6, Paul Maurice yelled at Nosek,\u00a0A.J. Greer,\u00a0and\u00a0Jonah Gadjovich\u00a0to get out on the ice so they could be the ones to start the championship celebration.\u00a0<\/p>\n
It was a moment Nosek, for sure, will never forget.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201dI just cannot find the right words to match my emotions right now,\u2019\u2019 Nosek said then.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt is just an amazing feeling. You keep dreaming of it. I lost in one Final, and I did not know whether I would ever get this chance again. It is amazing. Just amazing.\u2019\u2019<\/p>\n
Nosek, 33, will not return to the Panthers this coming season.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Although it was assumed based on previous signings, Nosek made it official Friday by returning to HC Dynamo Pardubice of the Czech Extraliga.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Nosek played for Pardibice in 2013-14 before signing with the Detroit Red Wings as an undrafted free agent.\u00a0<\/p>\n
As it stands, Nosek\u2019s NHL career spanned 514 regular season games over 11 seasons with the Wings, Golden Knights, Bruins, Devils, and Panthers.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Nosek\u2019s played in 68 postseason games, making it to the Final with the expansion Golden Knights and with the Panthers.\u00a0<\/p>\n
He was on the Bruins teams which saw their season end to the Panthers in both the 2022 and 2023 seasons.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cThis is an amazing team,\u2019\u2019 Nosek said last year.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cWhat a great group of guys who I am proud to be a part of. Everyone in that room treated me so great. They took me in. It was fantastic.\u2019\u2019<\/p>\n
Nosek\u2019s final season with the Panthers took a while to get going after he needed surgery after injuring a knee during the offseason.\u00a0<\/p>\n
He returned to the team in March, playing in 21 games.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Nosek scored his two goals last season in one of the final games he played, a 6-2 win against the Maple Leafs.\u00a0<\/p>\n
He sustained a broken leg in Florida\u2019s win over the Rangers on April 15, missing the season finale against the Red Wings.\u00a0<\/p>\n
