Mariner High School football coach under investigation, Lee County School Board member confirms<\/p>\n

A coach with Cape Coral’s Mariner High School football team has been placed on administrative leave, according to Armor Persons, chair of the Lee County School Board.<\/p>\n

In a statement, Persons said that the district immediately placed the coach on administrative leave and that there is a possible suspension or termination hearing in the future.<\/p>\n

It was not made immediately clear which football coach is under investigation, or the reason for the leave.<\/p>\n
