The campaign is an effort to help close a critical funding gap and sustain essential programs and services throughout the region.<\/p>\n<p>As a longtime United Way supporter through employee payroll contributions and a community partner to many of the organization\u2019s affiliated agencies, the bank was proud to answer the call to help address the organization\u2019s current funding challenges. United Way is working to close a $1.3 million funding gap while continuing to support 92 partner agencies and United Way-operated programs that serve more than 500,000 people across the community.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAt Sanibel Captiva Community Bank, we\u2019ve always believed in showing up for our community when it matters most,\u201d said Kyle DeCicco, president and CEO of Sanibel Captiva Community Bank. \u201cThat\u2019s why supporting United Way\u2019s One in a Million Campaign was an easy decision.
