Running August 1 through September 30, this year’s program features more than 300 participating restaurants across Greater Miami and Miami Beach, with three-course lunch and brunch menus priced at $40, dinner menus at $50 or $65 and the elevated Miami Spice Reserve tier beginning at $95.

When the program launched in 2002 with just 56 participating restaurants, it was designed to solve a very real problem. August and September have historically been among Miami’s slowest months for hospitality, as insanely hot temperatures, hurricane season and the end of summer travel leave dining rooms noticeably quieter than during the city’s bustling winter months. The initiative gave locals a compelling reason to continue dining out while introducing visitors to some of Miami’s best restaurants.

For many Miami locals, Miami Spice Restaurant Months has become an annual tradition as a chance to finally book that restaurant they’ve been eyeing all year without the usual splurge. In many cases, the savings are substantial enough that an extra dessert, another cocktail or even a wine pairing suddenly feels much easier to justify.

Of course, not every Miami Spice menu delivers the same value. Some restaurants simply offer a pared-down version of their regular menu. Others use the promotion as an opportunity to showcase signature dishes, generous multi-course experiences and premium ingredients that would typically cost considerably more when ordered à la carte.

If you’re planning your Miami Spice reservations this year, these are the restaurants that offer some of the biggest bang for your buck—and why they’re worth booking.

Zuma

Always a fan favorite, Zuma’s $60 dinner experience goes far beyond the typical appetizer, entrée and dessert format. Every guest begins with the restaurant’s signature miso soup before selecting two starters (during lunch it’s three!), followed by an included three-piece sushi course, then a choice of entrée and dessert. Rather than simply checking the three-course box, the meal unfolds much like a condensed tasting experience, making it one of the most generous values in this year’s program. Standout dishes include the beloved chicken karaage with chili-lemon dressing, delicate prawn and black cod gyoza and perfectly prepared sushi before moving into entrées like salmon teriyaki with pickled cucumber. Dessert is equally enticing this year, as Zuma is bringing its signature Maple Cheesecake from its Vail location to Miami exclusively for Miami Spice.

Also consider: If Japanese cuisine is calling your name, don’t overlook Japón at The Setai, Uchi, Pari Pari, Double Knot, and Pubbelly Sushi.

Daniel’s Miami

Braised Wagyu Beef Short Rib at Daniel’s Miami

The Louis Collection

This Coral Gables steakhouse isn’t limiting guests to a single prix-fixe experience. Instead, it’s participating across four different meal periods, making repeat visits genuinely worthwhile. At Daniel’s Miami, weekday lunch comes in at $40 where guests can start with dishes like burrata or Wagyu beef empanadas before choosing from entrées including grilled Canary Island branzino, mezza rigatoni pomodoro, the restaurant’s signature heritage burger or a Demkota Elite filet mignon au poivre for a small supplement. Brunch, served Sundays for $40, is equally tempting with Florida Keys red snapper, Belgian waffles, cobia ceviche and trofiette pasta alongside an indulgent steak & huevos rancheros upgrade. Dinner expands the experience even further. A $65 Friday and Saturday menu is available exclusively in the bar and patio, while diners looking to celebrate can opt for the $95 Miami Spice Reserve menu Sunday through Thursday featuring Mayura Station Wagyu carpaccio, braised Wagyu short rib, Florida grits-crusted grouper, prime filet and decadent desserts.

Also consider: Steak and seafood lovers should also check out Lafayette, Ezio’s, Slim’s Bal Harbour and Klaw.

Belly Fish

This cozy Coral Gables sushi restaurant is quietly serving some of the best value in the city. At Belly Fish, the restaurant’s $40 lunch and $50 dinner offer more variety than many traditional prix-fixe menus. Lunch begins with choices like tuna tostada or salmon sashimi before moving into an impressively generous sushi combination featuring a maki roll, handroll and four pieces of nigiri—including bluefin tuna akami, chutoro, Japanese hamachi and torched salmon belly. Dinner is equally compelling with exclusive dishes like shrimp aguachile with tomatillo sauce, assorted crispy rice and a beautifully composed chirashi bowl layered with salmon, tuna and multiple cuts of hamachi. Want to elevate the experience? Guests can upgrade to an omakase featuring 10 premium nigiri—including A5 Wagyu, bluefin otoro and torched salmon belly with truffle oil—for just $12, while a curated SOTO sake flight adds another layer to the meal for only $15.

Also consider: More great lunch deals can be found at Makoto, Cote, LPM Miami, and Le Jardinier.

Estiatorio Milos

estiatorio Milos

estiatorio Milos

Fresh Mediterranean seafood rarely comes cheap, which is exactly why Miami Spice makes Estiatorio Milos such an attractive reservation. Known for its pristine fish display, flown-in seafood and elegant Greek hospitality, the South of Fifth restaurant typically invites diners to build a meal around market-priced selections that can quickly add up. For $65, guests can experience many of the restaurant’s signature flavors beginning with selections like the Milos mezze platter, classic Greek salad or tender Mediterranean octopus before moving on to entrées such as dorade royale with Santorini capers, Hiddenfjord salmon, halibut Spetsiota, shrimp saganaki or a filet mignon brochette. Dessert finishes on a lighter note with Greek yogurt drizzled in thyme honey, traditional walnut cake or refreshing lemon sorbet. There’s also a special Reserve menu available on the weekends.

Also consider: Mediterranean flavors are a favorite during Miami Spice and can be found at Habibi Miami, AVA MediterrAegean, Casa Neos, and Ocean Grill at The Setai.

L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon

If there is one reservation that best demonstrates just how far Miami Spice has evolved over the past 25 years, it’s L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon. Sometimes the best value is simply getting to order the dishes you’d actually come back for. That’s exactly what makes North Italia’s Miami Spice menus so appealing. The Brickell favorite (with additional locations in Aventura and Dadeland) is participating with $40 lunch and brunch menus alongside a $50 dinner, offering one of the widest selections in the program. Rather than limiting diners to just a few choices, the restaurant gives guests the flexibility to build the meal they want. Lunch favorites include the signature spicy rigatoni vodka, squid ink tonnarelli, grilled branzino and chicken pesto sandwich, while dinner expands to dishes like lobster mezzaluna, braised short rib Marsala with black truffle risotto and herb-grilled salmon. Brunch is equally satisfying with breakfast carbonara, short rib Tuscan hash and pollo fritto.

Also consider: Italian fans should also make reservations at Felice Brickell, Macchialina, Seia, Prime Italian, Mother Wolf, and Rao’s Miami Beach.

Blue Ribbon Sushi Bar & Grill

Blue Ribbon has always been a favorite among locals who know exactly where to find consistently great sushi on Miami Beach. During Miami Spice, it’s also adding a little extra incentive. The restaurant is offering $40 lunch and $45 and $60 dinner menus, giving diners access to favorites like toro tartare, sea bass carpaccio, chef’s selection Seven Beauties nigiri, duck ssam and pistachio Basque cheesecake. As an added bonus, every Miami Spice guest receives a sealed envelope with their check. Hidden inside two lucky envelopes—one in August and one in September—is a Golden Ticket redeemable for a complimentary three-night stay for two at The Plymouth Hotel, complete with a private sake tasting.

Also consider: Miami Beach continues to shine during Miami Spice with standout menus from Cho Asian Bistro, Lido Bayside Grill, Joe’s Stone Crab, and Motek Miami Beach.

Maple & Ash

Fire-Roasted Seafood Tower at Maple & Ash

Samantha Reynolds

If your idea of Miami Spice involves lobster, filet mignon and seafood towers, Maple & Ash should be at the top of your list. The Miami Worldcenter steakhouse is serving a $60 dinner and a $95 Reserve dinner featuring bluefin tuna tartare, lobster bisque, grilled summer salad, filet mignon medallions, Mediterranean branzino and the restaurant’s famous spicy rigatoni alla vodka. The Michelin Bib Gourmand recipient is offering a $50 dinner seven nights a week featuring chef Niven Patel’s produce-driven approach to Indian cuisine. This menu is very similar to the restaurant’s usual $65 tasting menu, which is already a solid deal in this town. Guests can expect dishes like yellowfin tuna bhel, Kerala-style lamb served alongside fresh naan and the restaurant’s beloved sticky date cake. It’s the kind of meal that feels deeply personal rather than flashy, making it proof that Miami Spice isn’t just about luxury dining, but celebrating Miami’s culinary scene.

Also consider: Other OG Miami favorites participating in Miami Spice this year include Eating House, KYU, River Oyster Bar, and Michael’s Genuine.

Twenty-five years after its launch, Miami Spice has become much more than a summer promotion. It’s a reminder that great restaurants aren’t reserved only for birthdays, anniversaries or expense account dinners. Whether you’re splurging on a Michelin-starred tasting menu, discovering an under-the-radar neighborhood favorite or simply looking for the city’s best sushi deal, Miami Spice remains one of the smartest ways to experience Miami’s evolving dining scene.
