Scattered inland storms Monday; Stormy week ahead<\/p>\n

While a few coastal downpours are expected Monday morning, scattered storms will target areas east of I-75 heading into the late afternoon. Storms will bring the threat for heavy rain, lightning and gusty winds. <\/p>\n

Your Gulf Coast Weather Most Accurate Forecast says highs will stay seasonal in the low 90s. Storms will wind down after sunset with lows falling into the upper 70s. <\/p>\n

Expect even higher storm chances toward the second half of the work week. By Wednesday, an east wind returns to the forecast. This will favor coastal storms by the late afternoon and evening. Keep the umbrella handy as August is typically our wettest month of the year. <\/p>\n

In the tropics, no development is expected over the next seven days. The first hurricane of the season typically forms by August 11. <\/p>\n
