TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Police are investigating after a person was shot in southeast Tallahassee Monday night.<\/p>\n
The incident transpired just before 10:10 p.m. in the 800 block of Cochran Drive, the police department wrote in a press release Tuesday.<\/p>\n
Officers were called to a home in that area, where police said they located an individual suffering from gunshot wounds to the hand and arm.<\/p>\n
The victim was treated at the scene just before being transported to a local hospital, where they are expected to survive, according to the police department.<\/p>\n
No additional details were shared regarding the victim. <\/p>\n
An investigation later determined that the shooting took place in the 2500 block of Texas Street, where authorities recovered evidence related to the incident, per police. <\/p>\n
